SIMPLY MAGIC / OUR STORY & BUSINESSES

DataVision

Information people could touch and explore.

DataVision

DataVision was part of Paul’s early work with interactive multimedia kiosks and public-information systems. These interfaces brought audio, video, and animated graphics together, giving visitors a way to explore information directly instead of relying only on a printed directory or a static sign. The work spanned settings such as fitness clubs, airports, and malls.

The core design challenge was practical: help someone find useful information with a clear, approachable interface. Directory screens and touchscreen installations show the connection between that early work and Simply Magic’s continuing interest in interactive technology. The MGM Grand project is a distinct chapter in the same history.

Interfaces, software, and multimedia

Paul’s technical skill set spans software design, web development, user-interface design, digital signage, and interactive multimedia. Those disciplines connect the DataVision story with his later software and promotional work: build an interface people can understand, combine the right media, and make the system useful in its real setting.
